I'm so wishy washy

I'm sure people always change their criteria, change what they hope me. Me especially. When i was not so little, i want a girlfriend who has good body, but then i fell in love with someone who is more on the flat side. Then i want someone who is thin, but then again i fell in love with someone who is voluptuous. Then as i became older, i want someone who is not so young, but once again i fell in love with someone who is quite young. Then i want someone who can converse in mandarin fluently, but then i like someone who cannot speak proper mandarin. Whats wrong with me ah? Stupid sia.

When i'm in primary school, i wanted to get into AJC, but when i got the chance to go in, i choose to give it up for NYJC. Damn po po ma ma lah. I always like that one loh, ask me to decide a place for dinner, i can't make up my mind, always rely on others to decide for me. Sigh...... Dunno what i want also.

好马不吃回头草？

Today went to celebrate Li wei's 21st birthday, made alot of effort, hope she enjoyed it! But one thing cause this lazy guy to write an entry after so damn long is Pat said a phrase that I disagree TOTALLY. This phrase is my title, it means good horse dun turn around and eat the grass it left behind. It is normally used when a couple breaks up and used to say one should never patch. You wan to know my comments for this phrase? Well, THIS PHRASE SUCKS!!! IT IS TOTALLY RUBBISH!

First of all, good horse dun eat the grass it left behind? Well, are we horses? Only horse dun turn back and eat what, we as human beings should know what is right and what is wrong. Secondly, i'm sure u will say, well this is juz an analogy, ok, then u know why good horse dun turn his head back and eat the grass it left behind? THat is because, the grass kanna eaten already, so it will only go back to eat after new grass have grown, even if still got grass, it never turn back immediately, cos u think horses are humans ah, can anyhow reverse? It will go back, but only after one big round, so they say good horses dun turn back, cos if turn like that very difficult mah. Thirdly, we as humans, for eg, if u went to a shop hoping to get a nice pair of shoes, then u saw 1 pair that u like, but its still early, so u won't buy it immediately what, what if got better pair at another shop? so u decided to continue shopping, then at the end of the day, u then find out that the first pair is the one u like, so will u go back and buy? Of course u will right? So like what i say, even if break up already, if after a few years, after going out with some people, u find out that the previous one was the one for you, DUN because of this stupid phrase and ruin your life.

A successful person is one who is flexible, so if need be, he/she will go back and get what is the optimum choice. If you disagree and decided to carry on be a good but stupid horse, go ahead then. Sorry about that that you are such a stupid beast.

New Hokkien

Wah, long time never write blog already. Before last week is exam, so damn busy to write, last week is super lazy, so never write also. Today also lazy, so i shall just write a short entry. Yesterday I just heard about a funny thing. That is the hokkien that we the generation X and Y is using is actually wrong, in certain sense. Some words that we use is actually very different from the original meaning or the word does not exist.
First of all, i'm sure everybody knows the word "chio", and i'm sure all of us use this word to describe someone who is pretty. For example, when you are on the word, you see this pretty or hot girl, you will just say, "wah, chio bu". It is meant as a compliment, but in reality, or to my mum generation, the baby boomers, chio is meant as a criticism. You only say someone is chio, if that gal is vain or slutty. Hence for those people, like my sister who always say she is chio, chio is not a compliment, it means you are cheap. But meanings of words change according to time, so who cares, lets just use chio to describe girls who are hot.

For the second case where the word does not exist, i'm sure all of us have use the word pang seh before. Normally people use it to means being put aeroplane. For example I arrange to meet a friend to watch a movie, then he last minute tells me that he can't make it, i will say he pang seh me. Yesterday, when my mum heard of this word, she does not know the meaning of it, if you say some chinese word which she dunno the meaning, i can understand, but not hokkien. So this is another word which our generation invented.

So words are so amazing, they either change overtime or new words get invented. I thought this only happens to english, but surprisingly, it also happens for hokkien. Next time i encounter such words again, i will talk about it. I welcome feedbacks to tell me or more such words, hokkien allowed only, not interested in english or mandarin, not to mention malay or tamil. So that's all folks.
