Funny poem

Today i heard a damn funny version of the 床前明月光 poem. This comes from an english-speaking friend. I always thought this poem is known to every chinese kid, but she proves me totally wrong. This is her version of it:

船前明月光
chuan qian ming yue guang
地上爱扇霜
di shan ai shan shuang
月亮代表我的心
yue liang dai biao wo de xin
低头有个池
di tou you ge chi

And the funny thing is after i correct her, she think she is damn smart lah, cos every line got something correct. Still remember her reaction: " Hahahahaha, i'm damn smart lah, cannot take it!" Then she continue to beam at her intelligence. Bimbo lah!

PS: i told her the third one was ju tou wang ming yue, then she guessed the 4th one is di tou, so she is damn proud of her smartness.

First entry in 2008

Happy New Year! Very long since i last blogged, very lazy, no choice. Dunno what to blog about, so lets start with what had happened since my last entry. Firstly, the rugby tournament, well in 2 words sums it up: WE LOST. Sigh, think we should proceed to at least the knock-out stages. I think its all the captain's fault, lousy captain, never motivate the team at all, never train the team well. Stupid Captain, if you dunno, well, i'm the captain. We won the first match, lost the next 2 and we are out. In the crucial last match, it was down to penalty shootout, drop-kick style. I was the first kicker and i missed. Its sudden death, lucky they missed also. But after 4 rounds, we are out.

This is going to be my last sem, going to the working world already. Anyway, i'm going to Deloitte. Why? Well, cos of friends bah, never was good with making new friends, so prefer to stick with current friends. Oh, 1 new theory about mahjong, its home DISadvantage. Whenever i played at home, sure lose, but maybe little bit only. If i play elsewhere, normally can win alot. Haha, this year 2008, maybe my mahjong year, luck coming back liao. There was this period, many years back, when my luck was damn good, want what tile, can get what tile. Sure win, and always win by alot. Then luck went away, lose all the way also. For those who dunno, well, i'm not a pro, but my family can be said as mahjong family, very CNY, surely will have mahjongs, 3 tables in my Ah Ma's place. But surprisingly, i learnt mahjong in Primary 5 or 6 from neighbours. Then start to play mahjong games to learn more. For those amateur, 明星三缺一is a very good teacher. At least can learn to count tai. Ok, thats all for now, maybe next entry is during CNY.

PS1: Cannot have CNY this year, dunno is good or bad thing, can save on CNY clothings.

PS2: Went to see Die Da for my ankle, say what soft bone injured lah, need rest for 2 weeks, but me being so sporty, wun rest for 2 weeks one, so now still pain. That sinseh damn stupid leh, after treating me, he say if still pain, i say yes, then he buay song, treat me again, then ask again, i say still pain, he buay song again, treat again, only wanna me say ok, then he will let me go. But quite good lah, after that really no more pain. But only lasted for 3 days, then pain come back. I think is he press press press until my veins become numb, dun feel anything, so no pain, but now vein recover, pain also recover. Haha, sort of hope its hair-line fracture, then can x-ray then can downgrade, HAHAHAHA. Sorry about that!
